A Maggie's Place Student Intern gains real-world, hands-on learning experience in a Maggie's Place OnSite after-school program.  In your role as Student Intern, your contributions will enrich the lives of younger students in your community, and will have a positive and long lasting impact.

All Student Interns must pass the same requirements as After-School Teachers, including; CPR and First Aid training and certification, clear a background check, must obtain a childcare worker permit, and will be held to the same quality performance standards as their After-School Teacher peers.

In your role, you will assist with and facilitate outdoor games, homework help, serving and cleaning up after snack, the Maggie's Place core curriculum, and provide individualized care and attention with students as needed. A student intern is held in high regard for their cheerful and fun personality, ability to learn quickly, patience and flexibility, and ability to embody the award winning Maggie's Place culture and spirit through their daily interactions with students and their parents.
