After-School Teachers
A Maggie's Place After-School Teacher holds primary responsibility for one after-school programs. The After-School Teacher facilitates the curriculum, establishes and builds relationships with client families and school administrative staff, is directly responsible for the care of the students in his/her program and follows daily program routines. An excellent After-School Teacher will have completed college coursework in or related to child development, teaching, or recreation, and brings a very positive, compassionate, energetic and cheerful personality to the program.
Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check. First Aid and CPR Certification will be required as a condition for employment. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender or gender identity, national origin, religion, lack of religion, or disability.
Hours follow the school bell to 6 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation is hourly, and is highly competitive for our area and industry, and includes paid time off, vacation, sick days and occasional bonuses.
